This Privacy Policy explains how WLTH LLC, doing business as Shop Club, handles your information across shopclub.ai, the Shop Club Tools Chrome extension, our workbooks, the Shop Club Seller Course, and the Shop Club Inner Circle subscription.
Who we are
Shop Club is operated by WLTH LLC, a limited liability company doing business as "Shop Club" ("Shop Club," "we," "us," or "our"). WLTH LLC is the data controller of personal information collected through the website at shopclub.ai, the Shop Club Tools browser extension for Chrome and other Chromium browsers, the Shop Club workbooks, the Shop Club Seller Course, and the Shop Club Inner Circle subscription. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have. By using any of these services you agree to the practices described here.
Scope of this policy
This policy covers: (1) the marketing website at shopclub.ai and any subdomains; (2) the Shop Club Tools Chrome extension and its background, content, and popup scripts; (3) the Shop Club Seller Course, including account creation, course access, community features, billing, and renewals; and (4) email, SMS, and other direct communications from us. Purchases and live shows on third-party platforms such as Whatnot, TikTok, and Instagram are governed by those platforms' own privacy policies in addition to ours.
Information you provide
We collect information you give us directly, including: name, email address, phone number (if you opt in to SMS), shipping and billing address, username and password for the Seller Course, profile information, support and contact messages, survey or testimonial responses, brand submission details (for CPG brands applying to be featured), and payment information processed by our payment providers. For the Seller Course we also store your enrollment status, subscription tier, renewal dates, course progress, quiz results, and any content you post in community channels.
Information collected automatically
When you use the website or Seller Course portal we automatically collect device and usage data such as IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page, clicks, and approximate location derived from IP. We use cookies, local storage, pixels, and similar technologies for authentication, security, preferences, and analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may break parts of the Seller Course portal.
Shop Club Tools Chrome extension
The Shop Club Tools extension is designed to help live sellers run better shows. It runs only on the domains listed in its manifest (for example, seller dashboards on supported live-commerce platforms). The extension may read page content on those domains to surface order, inventory, and show-management helpers, and it may store your preferences and a local cache in chrome.storage. We do not sell, rent, or transfer the data the extension reads to any third party, and we do not use it for advertising, credit checks, or to build user profiles unrelated to the extension's features, consistent with the Chrome Web Store "Limited Use" requirements. Aggregated, de-identified usage events (for example, "feature X was opened") may be sent to our analytics provider to improve the product. You can uninstall the extension at any time from chrome://extensions to stop all collection.
Purchases & billing
Digital purchases of our workbooks, the Seller Course, and the Inner Circle subscription are sold and processed through Thinkific. When you check out, you provide payment details directly to Thinkific and its payment processor; we do not receive or store full card numbers. We receive the transaction metadata we need to deliver and support your purchase — such as your name, email address, order amount and currency, product purchased, and success/failure status. Thinkific handles billing, invoices, taxes, renewals, refunds, and chargebacks under its own terms and privacy notice.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to: operate and secure the website, extension, and Seller Course; create and authenticate accounts; deliver course content, community features, and updates; process payments, renewals, refunds, and tax obligations; fulfill orders shipped from our warehouse; respond to inquiries and support requests; send transactional emails (receipts, password resets, course updates); send marketing emails or SMS only where you've opted in (you can unsubscribe any time); measure and improve our products; detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, abuse, and security incidents; and comply with legal obligations.
Legal bases (EEA/UK users)
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on the following legal bases: contract (to deliver the Seller Course and extension features you purchased or installed), legitimate interests (to secure and improve our services and communicate with customers), consent (for marketing emails/SMS and non-essential cookies), and legal obligation (tax, accounting, and responding to lawful requests).
Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with: (a) service providers under contract who help us run the business — hosting, analytics, email delivery, SMS delivery, fraud prevention, customer support tooling, and shipping carriers; (b) Thinkific, which hosts and sells our workbooks, Seller Course, and Inner Circle subscription and processes the related account, billing, and learning data; (c) live-commerce and social platforms when you choose to connect or transact there; (d) professional advisors (lawyers, accountants, auditors); (e) authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, and property; and (f) an acquirer in connection with a merger, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described above. Account, course progress, and order records are retained for the life of your account plus a reasonable period afterward to comply with tax, accounting, and legal obligations (generally up to seven years). Marketing contact data is retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Analytics and log data are typically retained for up to 24 months in identifiable form.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live (including under GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal information, to object to certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to opt out of "sales" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We do not sell or share personal information in that sense. To exercise any right, email hello@shopclub.ai from the address on file. You can also appeal a decision or complain to your local data-protection authority.
Children
Shop Club is not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA/UK), and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. The Seller Course is intended for adults operating a business. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact hello@shopclub.ai and we will delete it.
Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), hashed passwords, scoped access controls, and vetted service providers. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
Shop Club is based in the United States. If you access our services from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. and other countries where our service providers operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Third-party links & platforms
Our website, extension, and course materials may link to third-party sites and platforms (Whatnot, TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, payment processors). Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review them before sharing information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you by email or in-product notice. Continued use of the website, extension, or Seller Course after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
